Casual action mobile game developed based on academic research conducted at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Game Lab, about the relationship between social media and gameplay.

Leveraged on Facebook Connect to introduce differing non-intrusive gameplay effects based on the amount of social media activity reflected by the player connected to the game.

Game is played in landscape orientation and features a unique "swinging" mechanic with which the player could generate swing and momentum on the main character, by rhythmically tilting their phone in either direction.

Role & Work

Principal designer, responsible for general game direction and features, level designs, character designs, and gameplay balancing.

Designed social integration system that would benefit players who choose to link their Facebook accounts to the game, enhancing their gameplay experience without diluting that of players who opt not to.

Created and maintained documentation for all aspects of the game, including GDD, feature list, asset lists, flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes to demonstrate relatively complex menu flow of game (due to pop-ups handling Facebook integration features).

Headed creative discussions within team and led regular team presentations to showcase design progress and direction.
